Cherry tomatoes 500g/ 1 lb.
Salt 2 teaspoons
Sugar ¼ teaspoon
Olive oil 2 tablespoons
Preheat the oven to 220°C/ 425ºF/Gas 7.
Cut the tomatoes in half en press out the seeds. Place them cut side up in an ovenproof dish or on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with the salt, sugar, and olive oil.
Put them in the oven, and immediately turn the oven off. Don’t open the door until the next morning or at the end of the day to find lovely home dried tomatoes.
